Nigel Layton, ChairmanI am currently Chairman of WJR and have been since September 2002. I engaged with WJR because my family had been very involved over the years. my Great Uncle, the late Julian Layton OBE was one of the founders of WJR (then known as Central British Fund). He worked with the UK Government to bring Jewish Refugees from germany to the UK. I currently run a corporate investigations and risk mitigation business called Quest and am married to Sarah and have two children, Hannah and Oliver. |

Linda Rosenblatt, Co-Vice ChairmanI became involved with WJR 20 years ago as one of the founding members of Connections. As my parents both escaped Nazi Germany I have always identified closely with the work of WJR. As Co Vice- Chairman I sit on the Allocations Committee, I help organise fundraising events, help with major gift fundraising, lead missions to Eastern Europe and have recently helped establish WJR's new initiative, Pomegranate. |

Nigel Ross, Co-Vice ChairmanWhen I was first introduced to WJR I could not believe there were so many Jews living in such dire circumstances. WJR was a small enough charity for my wife, Lynne, & I to make a real difference. It has been lifechanging for us, and, hopefully, life-changing for all the many people we have been able to help. I formulated the idea for WJR's 'Our Town' policy and formerly headed WJR's Capital Projects initiative. |

Sue MandelbaumI have been involved with WJR for around five years. I initially became interested in WJR as I wanted to give some serious input to a charity and a conversation with someone who had come back from Mission Impossible led me to WJR. I was initially involved the Business Breakfast, and am now chair of the Allocations Committee, involved with the major giving programme and also with Pomegranate. |
