What We Do

Media Centre

We are inspired by the Jewish ideal of ‘Tikkum Olam’ – Healing the World. As such, we recognise the significant impact UK Jewry can have in responding to humanitarian need in the international community. In a world in which conflict, suffering and inequality are still rife, the need to respond with compassion and generosity to the suffering of others resonates strongly within the Jewish experience.

We are committed to acting on behalf of UK Jewry to international disasters and development programmes throughout the world. We have taken on the work which had been carried out by World Jewish Aid and continue to react to international crises as they unfortunately arise.
