Acquaint the local Jewish community and organisations with the issue of substance abuse

Jewish community claims that there is NO substance abuse among its members

Providing a needs analysis report of substance abuse among vulnerable Jewish communities.

The risk of substance abuse in disadvantaged and well-off families is almost the same, demonstrating that the root of the problem is not wealth but a family’s micro-climate and social interaction.

Beiteinu has seen a number of clients who have had experience of drug abuse.

The Ukrainian Jewish community claims that there is NO substance abuse among its members and there is little discussion on the subject. However, Beiteinu has seen a number of clients who have had experience of drug abuse.

The primary aim of this programme is to acquaint the local Jewish community and organisations with the issue of substance abuse, so that an assessment of assistance required can be carried out in the future.
