The Big Hand is WJR's community volunteer programme. It's flexible, accessible and is asking very little. As and when you want to help out, as and when you have some time to spare... you can always lend WJR a Big Hand.
Whether it be packing at the WJR warehouse for a couple of hours, or organising a fundraising event, there are a range of volunteering roles with us.
Please note that we do not have any volunteering roles with our programmes abroad.

Can you be the arms and hands of WJR? We need your help to get our message across. Posters, tzedakah boxes and flyers are just a few of the items that we need you to hand out.
- Distributing charity boxes
- Distributing standing order forms
- Putting up promotional materials in your local area
- Delivering/collecting WJR materials to other supporters
- Collecting foreign coins
- Taking part in street collections
