Find out more about what you can send to help communities in need

The Gifts in Kind programme ships humanitarian aid from the UK direct to needy individuals and communities in Eastern Europe and Former Soviet Union.

Whether it is new or 'as good as new', each individual donation contributes to making a real difference to people who face having to choose between buying food, clothing and medicine. Their small incomes cannot stretch to providing for even their most basic needs.

Support through the GiK programme saves people from these impossible decisions and gives them back their dignity.

Where are the goods sent?

We send your Gifts in Kind to Belarus, the Baltics (Latvia, Lithuania & Estonia), Moldova, Romania, Poland, Serbia and Ukraine.

How to package your goods

Please use heavy duty black plastic sacks or a zip laundry bag (no boxes please) and ensure that they are securely closed. All clothing must be clean, and free of stains or tears etc., with no missing buttons or broken zips. If at all possible, please pack men’s, women’s and children’s clothing in separate bags, clearly labeled to show contents.
