WJR supports an after-school educational facility for local Jewish youth in Rustavi, Georgia, that helps vulnerable Jewish families to break out of the poverty cycle.

Additional educational support classes provide Jewish children from underprivileged backgrounds with a safe educational environment to help them achieve their academic potential.

A total of 25 children benefit directly from the scheme, whilst their families are able to seek full-time employment with the burden of childcare significantly reduced. An after-school club takes place daily in the Rustavi Hesed during term time. Meanwhile, the children are invited to borrow text books, bought by the centre, that their families ordinarily cannot afford to buy, allowing them to advance their education further.
