Siyon's story

Siyon Satamkar, 45, suffered a stroke 2 years ago.  Due to ill health he can no longer earn an income to provide for his family. Siyon’s wife acts as his carer and his 16-year old son works part-time to supplement the family income and struggles to continue his education.

Siyon was identified as a vulnerable individual by the programme and his circumstances are being accessed in order to best meet his needs through a detailed plan of intervention. With WJR’s support Siyon will be provided with the care and rehabilitation required to improve his situation.
