Entembeni Old People's Home

The home was established in 1956 by leaders of the city when they noticed large numbers of destitute elderly. Entembeni is situated 14km from Bulawayo. Today the home is extremely run down and caters for 75 people aged over 65.

There are 18 members of staff to look after the 75 people.

This project keeps the home running and their residents healthy.

WJR's support provies one third of staff costs, running costs and medical support. It also allows for the continuation of income generating projects, designed to supplement the home's small budget.
