B'nai B'rith Relief Fund - Lvov

This programme, supported by WJR since 2004, provides exellent nutritional support and a social centre for 80 elderly and infirm individuals in Lvov.

All participants are over 65 (most are over 85), have physical difficulties and are either Holocaust survivors or Righteous Gentiles.

Rising inflation and food costs are causing pensioners, particularly the infirm and extremely elderly, to struggle, once again, to make ends meet, making this programme even more vital.

In 2009-10, WJR is continuing to support the provision of daily hot meals for 80 people, six days a week.
