Together with its local partner, WJR is helping to create an environment in which children in wheelchairs can attend mainstream schooling, a rarity in Ukraine.

Municipal schools have traditionally been inaccessible to children in wheelchairs but thanks to good cooperation between our partner and the municipality, this is beginning to change.

In order to assist with this exciting process, WJR is providing an adapted mini-bus and running costs that will allow the children to travel to and from school.
