As Bulgarian pensioners feel the pinch of the world's financial crisis, this centre continues to improve the quality of life of over 150 older people who use the centre on a daily basis.
Social interaction helps ease their sense of isolation and the centre also runs an extensive programme of cultural and religious activities, broadening their sense of community. Clients are also provided with medical care, rehabilitation services, individual and group therapy.
