During 2006-7 WJR’s Meitiv programme fed 302 children every day of the academic year.

This programme provides free hot school meals to Jewish children from nursery school age through to secondary school.

To qualify, recipients must benefit from educational scholarships and attend one of the 33 Jewish day schools in Buenos Aires and the provinces.

For many children on the Meitiv programme, this is the only hot nutritious meal they receive all day. During 2006-7 WJR’s Meitiv programme fed 302 children every day of the academic year.
