Are you ready for a big challenge? Cycle from London to Paris with WJR and help communities in need around the world.
The sponsorship money you raise will help us extend a Jewish lifeline to people living below the poverty line in countries as diverse as Belarus, South Africa and Argentina. Whichever Big Challenge you choose, it will require a commitment of time and energy, but your hard work will be amply rewarded. Not only by the sense of elation at having completed a tough physical test, but by the knowledge that some of the world's struggling communities will benefit as a direct result of your efforts.
Cycle London to Paris - 17 - 20 July 2009:
If you enjoy cycling then this is the event for you. Your fitness levels will be put to the test as you pedal 300 km over three days through the South Downs, the Normandy countryside and finally on to the Eiffel Tower. There will be plenty of opportunities to get to know your fellow cyclists during the trip. And as a reward for your efforts, the fourth day is free for you to explore the sights of Paris or simply relax and unwind before boarding the Eurostar for the journey home. WJR has up to 50 places available, with a minimum sponsorship target of £1,500.
