Apply for partnership funding
WJR's allocations period will open on 8th March 2010. Please view our project criteria (accessible via the download button below) prior to requesting an application form. If your project fits, please send our Programmes Administrator bd@wjr.org.uk a brief description of the proposed project. Dependent upon suitability, an application form will then be sent. Receiving an application form does not guarantee any support.
Final decisions regarding applications will be made by the end of May and applicants will be notified in June.
A partnership criteria has been drawn up in order to formalise relations between WJR and potential partners, ensuring that both partner organisations understand their roles and expectations.
Any organisation wishing to form a partnership with World Jewish Relief will be required to providethe following:
- Proof of legal charity status in-country
- Bank accounts in charity's name
- Annual audited set of accounts and narrative review
- Management accounts for the year to 31 January 2010
- Cash flow forecast
- Organogram showing staff structure and responsibilities
- A named focal point who has a level of English
- Timely quarterly reports corresponding to financial information and original objectives
- Willingness and ability to host for Monitoring & Evaluation and fundraising purposes, WJR operatives when appropriate
- List of other funders
- References - another funding agency, trade reference and bank
Organisations will also be required to:
- Sign a detailed partnership agreement with WJR, which will be reviewed on an annual basis
- Acknowledge British Jewish support and understand our values and methods of work
- Provide proof of a vulnerable person/child policy or agree to develop one with WJR
- Agree to work with WJR, if requested, to upgrade capacity within the organisation
