Have fun and run for WJR

A number of Jewish Charities have teamed together once more in order to organise a cross communal Fundraising charity event The Community Fun Run. Logistically managed by Maccabi GB the following charities are involved: British ORT, The CST, Emunah, JCD, Jewish Blind and Disabled, Jewish Care, Norwood, Tzedek, Tribe, Magen David Adom, UJIA, Jewish Women's Aid and World Jewish Relief and are working collectively in order to engage the whole Jewish Community.

Primarily a family event the Community Fun Run will have 2 distances – 5km or 10km. The 5km being a fun run with the option to walk, jog, run and even attend in fancy dress! The 10km event is for the more serious athletes of the community.

We are pleased to announce that alongside this event, the Jewish Chronicle have committed to holding their JC Fun Extravaganza on the same site. This adds another dimension to why the Community Fun Run is an event not to be missed. There will be loads to do for kids of all ages - bouncy castles , soft play, arts and crafts, football schools, kid’s entertainers, magicians and lots more ensuring that the whole Jewish Community will be talking about this event for a long time to come. For further details call 0207 415 1573 or log on to www.thejc.com

The Community Fun Run offers you the opportunity to not only have fun with your family, but to meet other members of the Jewish Community and raise much needed funds for your chosen charity.

Entrance to the event is only £5 per child (under 16), £10 per adult and £1 for spectators and any funds that are raised over that go directly to your specified charity. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 25th May 2008!
